Back with backpacks

Over the past year I've noticed more and more people buying back packs, unfortunately, due to my empty purse, i haven't bothered to splurge out on a £30 - £40 bag, which i expect i would mostly use for school. Despite my loss of money, i do still like to have a look around on the Internet to see what i like. Then, yet again, i decided to have a little look on eBay.
~ you can find it here ~

I found this which isn't a lot cheaper, but if it saves a few pounds then i suppose that's a good thing. I think the thing i love most about this is the strings. Also the Aztec pattern on the top. I haven't seen any backpacks like this and i think its quite a nice twist with the combination of the backpack and Aztec patterns which seem to be quite popular right now. I'm thinking about buying this, or maybe asking for it for Christmas..

Quite a short post i suppose, but comment your thoughts.  Love it, hate it? let me know in the comments?

That's all for now, tarra! (haha, i have no idea where 'tarra' came from..?)

my new 'MAC 187 Due fibre' brush

Hello everyone :)

A few days ago i was looking around on eBay, and as I've had my eye on the MAC 187 Duo fibre brush, i thought I'd look that up. I found one which the seller said; "had a minor fault on the handle" and that the reason why it was so cheap (roughly seven pounds!). Unfortunately.. after i ordered it, and i was really chuffed on that "amazing deal" my friend told me that loads of people sell fake MAC brushes on eBay! I felt pretty stupid, i wont lie.

(sorry its wet, i thought I'd clean the foundation out if it for you guys,
and then i realised this was the best time of day to take the photos.. Oops!)

It came today, and i was thinking it was all good, until i realised that there were two things signalling that it was fake. First; the rings on the head weren't very rounded, and second; there's a scratch on the mac sign (which is indented by the way). These are shown in photos two and three. But the MAC sign one isn't very clear - i just couldn't get the camera close enough - sorry.I was expecting to be really upset if i found out that i was fake but I'm really not. Everything else looks real, which is good? And the brush is actually quite good quality anyway! Its so soft i feel like i don't want to use it in case i ruin it! haha! Obviously i did though, or i wouldn't have had to wash out my foundation brush, speaking of which, I'm really pleased with the foundation coverage its given me. So you might just be seeing this I'm my nest favourites - yay!

The website that my friend showed me is here:

There are loads of comments saying that it was really useful for them, so if you considering getting a mac brush, avoid eBay, or go tot his site!! (:

I hope you have more shopping luck than i did. Bye!

September | favourites

Wow, i cant believe its October already. Feels like just yesterday when i was complaining about having to go back to school, these past few weeks have gone SO quickly! On the bright side, Christmas here i come, haha. Personally i love Christmas time because its cold - it sounds odd, i know, but i must admit i love knitted jumpers, hot chocolate and fluffy socks! Anyway, ramble over and back to the point. I'm doing a September  favourites because i forgot to do one last month .. Oops.. So these are all my favourites from last month..

This is my No.7 Beautifully matte foundation, i pretty much wear this every day. I'm not gonna lie its only my second foundation (my first being miss sporty.. ugh, bad experiences). I paid £13.50 for this and it is defiantly worth it. I'm shade 'calico' and i do suggest you let them find your skin tone. Also, i wasn't expecting this, but when i asked for them to tell me my skin tone they also applied full face make up including my next favourit (No.7 Beautiful skin day cream), pressed powder and blusher! This does have a very good coverage but be careful not to put on too much or else it becomes very noticeable, i am planning on investing in a good foundation brush to pair up with this, so hopefully that will be in my November favourites.

This would be my No.7 Beautiful skin day cream, and again, i use this every day before i put on my foundation. I think its either this, my foaming cleanser or a combination of the two which has really gotten rid of my spots. Which i am extremely pleased about! I don't have a lot to say about this other than buy it!! (By the way, it was £12.50)
Finally something that isn't from the No.7 range. This is my Collection 2000 fix me up make up fixer. I have almost run out of this actually. I wear it everyday as well, unfortunately i forgot to put it on one day and my eye make up had faded A LOT more that it usually does.. i suppose that proves that it works? but i wasn't too pleased. haha. Some people have told me that they put hair spray on instead because its cheaper. Personally i wouldn't want to do that and i think it sounds a bit odd (comment your thoughts on that?) Also, this only cost me something like £3.99, so its not too much. I just really like it to be honest and i do feel that it works quite well, click to find it!
As i mentioned a few moments ago this is my No.7 beautiful skin foaming cleanser, one of the reasons why my skin looks so much better! (: I absolutely love this and i strongly recommend it basically. Not much else to say about this really.. Other than the fact that it was a mere £9, woop woop!

I may have left a few out, but they'll be in my October favourites, pinky promise (: haha. That's all for now (again, apologies, i hope to be posting more regularly from now on). Byeee
