Back with backpacks

Over the past year I've noticed more and more people buying back packs, unfortunately, due to my empty purse, i haven't bothered to splurge out on a £30 - £40 bag, which i expect i would mostly use for school. Despite my loss of money, i do still like to have a look around on the Internet to see what i like. Then, yet again, i decided to have a little look on eBay.
~ you can find it here ~

I found this which isn't a lot cheaper, but if it saves a few pounds then i suppose that's a good thing. I think the thing i love most about this is the strings. Also the Aztec pattern on the top. I haven't seen any backpacks like this and i think its quite a nice twist with the combination of the backpack and Aztec patterns which seem to be quite popular right now. I'm thinking about buying this, or maybe asking for it for Christmas..

Quite a short post i suppose, but comment your thoughts.  Love it, hate it? let me know in the comments?

That's all for now, tarra! (haha, i have no idea where 'tarra' came from..?)

my new 'MAC 187 Due fibre' brush

Hello everyone :)

A few days ago i was looking around on eBay, and as I've had my eye on the MAC 187 Duo fibre brush, i thought I'd look that up. I found one which the seller said; "had a minor fault on the handle" and that the reason why it was so cheap (roughly seven pounds!). Unfortunately.. after i ordered it, and i was really chuffed on that "amazing deal" my friend told me that loads of people sell fake MAC brushes on eBay! I felt pretty stupid, i wont lie.

(sorry its wet, i thought I'd clean the foundation out if it for you guys,
and then i realised this was the best time of day to take the photos.. Oops!)

It came today, and i was thinking it was all good, until i realised that there were two things signalling that it was fake. First; the rings on the head weren't very rounded, and second; there's a scratch on the mac sign (which is indented by the way). These are shown in photos two and three. But the MAC sign one isn't very clear - i just couldn't get the camera close enough - sorry.I was expecting to be really upset if i found out that i was fake but I'm really not. Everything else looks real, which is good? And the brush is actually quite good quality anyway! Its so soft i feel like i don't want to use it in case i ruin it! haha! Obviously i did though, or i wouldn't have had to wash out my foundation brush, speaking of which, I'm really pleased with the foundation coverage its given me. So you might just be seeing this I'm my nest favourites - yay!

The website that my friend showed me is here:

There are loads of comments saying that it was really useful for them, so if you considering getting a mac brush, avoid eBay, or go tot his site!! (:

I hope you have more shopping luck than i did. Bye!

September | favourites

Wow, i cant believe its October already. Feels like just yesterday when i was complaining about having to go back to school, these past few weeks have gone SO quickly! On the bright side, Christmas here i come, haha. Personally i love Christmas time because its cold - it sounds odd, i know, but i must admit i love knitted jumpers, hot chocolate and fluffy socks! Anyway, ramble over and back to the point. I'm doing a September  favourites because i forgot to do one last month .. Oops.. So these are all my favourites from last month..

This is my No.7 Beautifully matte foundation, i pretty much wear this every day. I'm not gonna lie its only my second foundation (my first being miss sporty.. ugh, bad experiences). I paid £13.50 for this and it is defiantly worth it. I'm shade 'calico' and i do suggest you let them find your skin tone. Also, i wasn't expecting this, but when i asked for them to tell me my skin tone they also applied full face make up including my next favourit (No.7 Beautiful skin day cream), pressed powder and blusher! This does have a very good coverage but be careful not to put on too much or else it becomes very noticeable, i am planning on investing in a good foundation brush to pair up with this, so hopefully that will be in my November favourites.

This would be my No.7 Beautiful skin day cream, and again, i use this every day before i put on my foundation. I think its either this, my foaming cleanser or a combination of the two which has really gotten rid of my spots. Which i am extremely pleased about! I don't have a lot to say about this other than buy it!! (By the way, it was £12.50)
Finally something that isn't from the No.7 range. This is my Collection 2000 fix me up make up fixer. I have almost run out of this actually. I wear it everyday as well, unfortunately i forgot to put it on one day and my eye make up had faded A LOT more that it usually does.. i suppose that proves that it works? but i wasn't too pleased. haha. Some people have told me that they put hair spray on instead because its cheaper. Personally i wouldn't want to do that and i think it sounds a bit odd (comment your thoughts on that?) Also, this only cost me something like £3.99, so its not too much. I just really like it to be honest and i do feel that it works quite well, click to find it!
As i mentioned a few moments ago this is my No.7 beautiful skin foaming cleanser, one of the reasons why my skin looks so much better! (: I absolutely love this and i strongly recommend it basically. Not much else to say about this really.. Other than the fact that it was a mere £9, woop woop!

I may have left a few out, but they'll be in my October favourites, pinky promise (: haha. That's all for now (again, apologies, i hope to be posting more regularly from now on). Byeee

A weekend up north

Last weekend my mum, dad and i all travelled up to go to the great north run (which my mum took part in). We left on Saturday after youth theatre and got up there at around sevenish. We always stay in the same b&b, which is opposite the sea and has an amazing view of the sea.. Hence the same 'sea veiw'.

We always go to dinner in the same place too, but i cant remember the name. This year i persuaded my parents to go on a walk a long the beach before we headed out to dinner. We sort of left my dad behind, but hey hum. haha. A bit further up the beach there was some party going on or something and they were all lighting Chinese lanterns, which made it look even prettier. I wish i had remembered to take photos of that :( apologies!

The next day wasn't as good. We got some lunch from Morrison's (and some other goodies which will be in my next post) and went up to the race. The reason why it "wasn't as good" is that it rained. I was sitting on a mat under two umbrellas and a waterproof coat.. and i was still cold. Mind you, i am usually cold a lot of the  time..

I forgot to bring our good camera, but i did take some photos of the runners from under my umbrellas on my dads phone;

there were more photos, but they were all basically just poeple running

Its really set me behind on homework and posts, but I'm getting back into sync with things. Plus Ive started some new things which has made me even busier!! but i promise ill always have time for blogging!

No. 7 Beautiful skin day cream review

First of all, i want to apologise for not posting in a while - teachers are dumping heaps of homework on us, and the other reason will be explained shortly ;) .. anyway, iiitttss......

Part two of my review series! This is all about my No.7 beautiful skin day cream for normal/oily skin. I love it just as i love my foaming cleanser! Seen as how i am very VERY prone to breakouts and I'm always hoping to find a good face cream that's wont cause a break out, or feel to heavy/thick. This is defiantly good if your like me and want smooth&clear skin package.

I mostly like it because of how incredibly soft it makes my skin feel, plus, there's absolutely loads on the bottle, or whatever i should call it, haha. You only need a splodge on each finger and it can cover your entire face. So i expect this will be lasting me a long time, which is good because, i don't have a lot of money, so i probably wouldn't have enough to get this next month as well

(just a hygiene note - your hands and face are two of the most oily parts of the body, so wash your hands and face before putting this on in the morning?)

Now, when i was at the shop and the nice lady - who's name i cant remember- was helping me, she told be that by putting this on would make my foundation and other such face related items, would last longer. She also said that; if i were to put my foundation on without this then it might turn out a different skin colour to mine. As for her first point: i haven't tried wearing my foundation without it, due to the second point, but i have noticed my powder and blush lasting a lot longer! i tend to come home and it would be rather late when i realise i haven't taken it off yet.

I would defiantly recommend this to anyone with normal/oily skin.if you don't have dry/oily skin, try another one? I would expect that its just as good... i don't really have much else to say about this, so come back for my next post soon :)

toodles

No.7 beautiful skin foam cleanser review

As promised, I'm doing reviews of all the no.7 products that were featured in my last post. Here is the first of four :)

Ive only had this a couple of days but mmm I'm lovin' it :) ! i recently had a break out on my cheeks which is odd for me (i usually only have an oily "T zone") but this has really reduced redness and has actually cleared up my skin quite a lot!

I use it every morning and every night, i put 1-2 squirts on my hand and i tend to massage it in mostly to the places where i have spots. And then if Ive been wearing a lot of eye make up then i find putting some on a little cotton pad works well.

Also, it says on the bottle that its for oily/dry skin, and it is perfect! It hasn't dried out my skin at all, but its still cleared it really well. So, i pretty much recommend this to anyone with oily/dry skin. However, if that isn't your skin type then i suggest looking at their other foam cleansers (they have all skin types).

That's pretty much it. there isn't really lot to write about this i don't think. just that i love it, how soft it makes my skin, and how clear my skin is now! :)

Come back for the other reviews - and if you don't know the other products that I'm talking about, then read my last post? :)

see you soon..

WeIrD haul time!

I went out with my dad today because i need new school trousers and shoes and ended up getting a whole lot more!! :) - good news for me, possibly not for my dad.

I think that the least interesting would be my school things. The shoes are from deichman and they were £8.99. I don't think that's too bad for a price, especially as my shoes always fall apart - even if they have good soles! And then the trousers are from Dunne's (Morrison's own clothes shop). They were £18 and i really like them because they don't just go straight down, and we aren't aloud any clingy fabrics, which this doesn't.
But those aren't very interesting, so lets move onto something else! When i went to greenbelt, and it was raining particularly heavily, the coat which i thought was waterproof actually wasn't. So when we saw a camping shop we looked at the coats and found this:
It was originally £120, but we got it reduced to £40! Its absolutely perfect. The fit in brilliant and it has two inside pockets (one for your phone/ i pod with a hole for earphones), a sleeve pocket for keys and two regular outside pockets. It also has padding, a hood, and inside sleeves. Its from Trespass, which honestly, i had never heard of before, but its really good! I pretty much recommend anyone who wants camping stuff to go there! :)

Then, cause i had a boots voucher for £3 off cosmetics and £5 off skin care products. I plan on doing individual reviews on all of these, so for now ill just list the products and the prices that they are in the shops - if i hadn't had a discount;

The reviews will hopefully come in the next few days once I've had a chance to use them :) so be sure to come back and read them, or click on that follow button! :3

Perfect two ..

My friend introduced me to an artist called Auburn - Specifically her song "perfect two" and.. i shan't lie, its my current musical obsession. Its REALLY catchy, and frankly, i think its a real shame that none of my friends (other than the one who showed me it) have heard of it! It's just a simple pimple song, but i loves it!!

I love it, so please go check it out? :3
.. and this is just because i like the song, I'm not trying to advertise

Lovley Lip gloss

In my MUA haul post you'll see that i got this MUA lip gloss - shade 5 - and i would like to share my love for it with you!

I wouldn't say that this was a review, though it is slightly review like.. hey hum. I just want to say that it is defiantly my favourite lip gloss of all time! *Dramatic*. It looks extremely glossy, which is good what with it being a lipgloss.

Another thing i like is the smell. It sounds on, and don't get me wrong, i don't go round smelling lip gloss's! But if its going on my face then I'd like it to smell nice. Also, (I'm very picky with lip gloss) i don't like it if i can feel it on my lips. Especially if it feels sticky.. and this doesn't, which i like.

The only thing i don't like is that it doesn't last very long, if i put it on in the morning it will probably be gone by lunch, however, its very portable - so you can always just put on a little more. And what do you expect for a £1 lip gloss?

I guess you could call this a review, but hey hum :) I really do recommend this, especially if you have a bit of change in your pockets ;)

That's all for now - quite a short post actually - see you soon!!

Growing my hair

Well, hello there my lovely readers! :)

I'm not sure how long ago it was, possibly half a year, i thought it would be a splendid idea to cut my hair short! .. I regret it deeply and I'm extremely eager to grow my hair back. I've read some ways to grow hair, but i just remembered another one - which i haven't been using!

One of them is to keep your hair down a lot, or at least lose. I think that's because it doesn't strain your hair, and it gives it more freedom to grow. I'm not entirely sire why but it might work? I have absolutely no idea on the actual scientific reason, but hey hum.

I also heard that drinking a lot of water helps.. I'm not sure why, again, but on the bright side; even if it doesn't make your hair grow faster, its good for your skin, and in general, quite a good thing to do i suppose. I hope there isn't any body finding it really irritating that i don't really know the reasons behind these, but they are just some things Ive heard, I'm not even sure if they work!

There is one thing  i think works, and it sounds a little odd, but cutting it will make it grow faster. I understand that when your really want long hair those inches can seem very precious. However, in the first two weeks after your hair has been cut it grows a lot faster than it would usually. Therefore, getting regular trims, will actually help it grow (in keep those split ends away)! I think its because, when you cut away split ends your hair can work more in growing than repairing.

However, i did a little online research and some people are saying that its only an illusion; hair looks like its growing faster when it has been cut just because its shorter and its more obvious. I'm not really sure, if I'm honest, but I'll be trying it anyway.

I'll be trying pretty much anything  i can to grow my hair, and if i find out any more ways to grow hair faster then I promise you I'll be blogging about it. And please let me know if you have any ways to grow hair that i don't know of?

Slight camera issues..

As i explained in my previous post - my phone is dead. And i just realised; My actual camera died a few days before i left. Meaning that i had to use my phone camera.. And now my phone is dead. So there may be a lack of photos in the next few posts until i find another camera i can use..

I asked my Dad if i could get an DSLR for a Christmas + birthday present, but he hasn't said yes (or no *fingers crossed) yet. Anyway, thought I'd mention before my blog started to look really boring and you had no idea why!

Well, that's all for now. Ill be back soon, with some make up, fashion.. maybe a little something on books. Wink wink!

Im baaaack!!

Heya! :)

I'm sorry i haven't posted in a while (five days i think) but Ive been at greenbelt!!

Just in case you aren't aware of what greenbelt is, its a christian festival - its got films, music, talks, stuff like that. Its really good. We go every year (our family) along with a couple of our friends family's and we always put our tents in a little ring, haha.

Unfortunately, Adam, will, Daniel and i were down at the canopy when it started to rain. Adam thought it would be a good idea to go get wills wellies from the tent. So we were casually walking up when the rain got waaay harder! We all had our phones in our pockets and they are now dead (accept wills nokia, of course), and we got completely soaked!

So I'm going to have to either pay for a new phone, try to get something from insurance or let it get worse. If you know any good ways to get water out of phones please let me know?

Anyway, I'll be back posting from now on!! :)

Charlie | review

This time last year, i probably would have told you that my favourite spray was charlie. I'll admit that i did go off them for a while. But , i was just cleaning out my make-up/ accessories/ smelly stuff and nail varnishes draw when i found a few!

I love the designs on the packaging, they are just the right size to put in your hand bag, or school bag, and they smell pretty good. Plus, for only 99p, its quite a bargain.. However The actual smell doesn't last long, so you have to re spray throughout the day. I don't particularly mind, cause it doesn't cost much to just go get a few more!

Also, when you get a proper (expensive) perfume, it does some thing where it changes or something? There are different layers which you can smell once you've put it on.. meaning that it lasts a long time - which you don't get with charlie.

Despite all this, I'm not entirely sure why, but i still really like them!

My favourite is "touch",
"A signature scent to suit every mood, giving you the confidence to do what you do"
It smells a but.. chemical-ie .. if that's a word .. but i really love it, and its perfect for after PE! :p

I'd probably recommend this if you want something that smells nice and it very portable. Especially if you want something to bring to school, enjoy!

MUA eye shadow review

A short while ago, i purchased four MUA eye shadows (Shades:11, 17, 19, 20). I promised that I'd review them, so here you go! :)
My favourite shade is defiantly the lightest shade.. which i, unfortunately, killed. They work really well but they are quite fragile, haha. (don't press to hard when your getting some onto your brush). It makes a great base coat of just everyday wear, you could probably wear it to school if you really wanted too (And if your aloud, which we aren't at my school, but hey hum).
After putting that on as a base i usually put on a bit of brown, cause it looks quite natural. Sometimes a bit of black a long close to my eye lashes. (I would only wear the sparkly one if i were going to a special occasion, so its quite unused).
To put it on i use this:
Its from the bodyshop, i mentioned in an earlier post how i got it in an offer. I LOVE it, its amazing. It feels so soft, and picks up eye shadow incredibly well. I know i need some more brushes (Good ones, at that) but I'll be using this till i discover a better one. I strongly recommend you invest in this!
Anyway, back to the eye shadows. suppose you get what you pay for, at a pound each,  they were never likely to be amazing, but i do use them quite a lot. And when its on your eye lid it doesn't feel heavy, in fact, i can barely tell its there. It does fade throughout the day. But if you really want a long lasting then your gonna have to invest in something a little more expensive.
I'd recommend these if you want something to start off with - learn the basics before  getting expensive stuff.. or if you only have a few quid left in your piggy bank!
That's all for now, see ya! :)

Haul.. part 2

Bonjour ;)

This is a follow up from my last haul post, if you haven't read it, go check it out! - This is the clothes part, so, sit back and enjoy ..

Well, there was one thing i had planned to buy before i actually left. They we're sold separately and were £9 together. I think the earrings were £4 and the ring was £5.. but I'm not sure. Its real wood on them both, not just some rubbish plastic thing, and they look amazing with red colours. I really like them but the ring is a bit big at the moment :)

There was one other thing i had wanted to get: A bandeau, i looked on new looks website, to make sure that they sold them. I found some, but they were all L accept for one black M, clearly, i got the medium. It was only £2.99. Plus, it fits like a glove :) -but not on my hands, obviously!
Also from new look i got this, i wanted another top that would go with my bandeau, and it had crosses. Which goes with my earrings and ring! Plus, as i said, the ring and earrings go with red colours.. so it was pretty much perfect! :D + it suits me cause of my dark hair xxx

So, this wasn't a very big post, but i think if it was combined with the other one it would just be too much!!

Concealer review - my miracle must have

This is my: "Rimmel London, stay matte dual action concealer" I LOVE it. I'll almost defiantly be re - purchasing this! :)

It was in one of my Hauls, a while back, and i promised i would review it.. its a bit overdue, i apologise, but at least I've done it now, right?

Its in 010 ivory, and it blends to the colour of my skin perfectly! You have to make sure you rub it in right, but after than my skin looks so much more radiant. Ive tried on some other concealers before and i don't really like the liquid ones much because to me they feel a bit oilier and i worry it could cause a break out. (my friend has suggested a liquid one that if "very good" so ill be checking that out soon, hopefully) But this isn't oily at all and hasn't given me any spots.

Plus; it was just under five pounds. I usually put it on under my eyes (because i don't tend to get much sleep) and then, if i have many blemishes ill 'conceal' those too and it works well for all of that :)

So there you go! :) i hope you liked it, ill do all the other promised reviews soon as well

Haul.. part 1

Heya
So my dad gave my brother £40 spending money to take to the lake district, i think i told you about that in one of my other posts.. Anyway, then, to be fair, he gave me £40 too :D
The first place i wanted to go was superdrug to get some more MUA. I got quite a lot so this might take a minute or two. My best friend hevzibev told me that MUA eye shadows are good so i got these:

Ive been using the light one with the brown one over the top but I'm not using the black one cause its quite.. strong? it isn't very easy to distribute it evenly, i suppose it just needs a little getting used to. and I'm saving the sparkly one for special occasions (i got shades: 17 -  the one i use everyday - 19 - i use too - 11 and 20).
Next, i chose this cause i wanted a lipstick, i fell in love with my other one. i don't think I'm actually gonna wear this much though cause its So bright. I'll save it for special occasions too. Its shade 1.. which is like the complete opposite to my other one!

Then, as i fell in love with my other nail varnish, i got this:

I tried it out a couple of days ago, and ill admit, its not very good. Its so thin, its unbelievable. i had to put on like 4 coats before it actually looked like the right colour.. And then i took it off because i couldn't make up my mind, haha.

At this point i was just sorta getting whatever because they are all so cheap. And i decided to get this:

It's a bronzer in shade 2. i haven't really tried this out much. i used it once when i went out a few days ago, and it was okay. but ill wait till Ive used it to do a review.. not too fond of the packaging on this one.

And my last MUA product was this:
MUA mascara in shade 1 (clear). i wear this a lot too,  cause it doesn't clump and your eye lashes just look the same, but longer. Plus, if your an idiot (like me) and you get it on your nose or eye lid or something, then you cant even tell!! over all, i really like it.

Then, i wanted another nail varnish, to get my make up spending to a total of £10 (because all the MUA things were £1 each and this was £1.99) I usually like white nail varnish.. but i recently discovered that if you put it on badly its REALLY obvious!! So i probably wont wear it too much :/

I'll follow up with a clothes + accessories haul. But i thought that all of it together would just to much!!

toodles :)

MUA

Hii :)
My brother, Daniel, and his friends are going on a trip to the lake district. Their going to stay in youth hostels and stuff. So he needed some new clothes, despite the fact that i only had like £2.50, i went with him.

Daniel being Daniel decided he wanted to go off on his own and dad and i went over to superdrug (he wanted some shaving stuff). My best friend heather (hevzibev) just got some stuff from MUA and she said that they were only one pound, which was good cause i really didn't have much money.
The first thing i thought i would want was a lipstick, so i picked out this one:

Its shade 4 and i got it for a pound!! It doesn't last very long and it isn't very bright when i wear it, but it does change the colour of my lips and it was only a pound! :P I'll certainly be going back for more of that..
Then (if you remember, I'm getting back into nails, so..) i picked out this:
.. I apologise for my weird hands, but now you can see how glossy it looks :]
Its shade 4 as well and it was also one pound. I LOVE the colour of it. and its really glossy, I'm wearing it right now :). i had to do second coats on all my nails. though, cause its really thin and i could see the whites of my nails through the colour.
And last, but not least. i got this:

Lip gloss in shade 5. I LOVE this too, Ive worn it every day since i bought it. and I'm certain ill be getting more of these asap!! And I'll be doing a proper review on this very soon, so come back and read that! :) .. oh, this was a pound too.

+ by the way, i took photos of the back because it has more info on the back. Don't get me wrong, i love the front, it looks really professional and fancy, but doesn't consist on much other than: MUA.

See you soon :) ..

London Haul xx

Hiii

A couple of days ago i went to London to see some Olympic water polo (which was amazing by the way!!) And after my mum took me to Westfield :))
It's my friends birthday coming up soon and I'm invited to her party - cinema + sleepover party - so i thought I'd get her present. A bit early but hey, i guess I'm finally being organised :)
As neither me, or my mum had much money on us i thought I'd go to Primark and see what they had there. Ive heard people say that the Primarks in London aren't very good, and i must say; i couldn't disagree more! I thought it was great, the only bad thing was that it was a bit crowded and i sometimes had to go round a long way because there were people blocking the places i was trying to get to.

My friend is a HUGE lover of bags, so much that "HUGE lover of bags" could be an understatement. I think she said she had like 150! So i, obviously, went to the bag section. I was looking for a while cause its a pretty big shop with a lot of bags. But then i came across this one:

I fell in love with it as soon as i saw it and I'm really jealous of Katie but i know she'll love it too. I cant remember how much it was but it wasn't much less than ten pounds. It has a reasonably long strap but its all tapped up so you cant see. And it has some little pockets inside.

I then thought that one bag wouldn't really be enough and it hadn't been the most expensive bag in the world, so i looked around trying to find something that would go with it.. but i couldn't find anything. So i thought about what else she likes and realised she often has her hair done. So i got her this:

Its just a little hair clip thing... Well, i say little but its actually quite big. Its got little sparkles on it and it would pretty much go with anything. As you'd expect this wasn't too much either, less that five pounds but, again, i cant remember.
Then, because i hadn't actually bought anything for me i went to new look cause i wanted a bandeau to go with one of my tops. Unfortunately they only had them in L when I'm S so i went to look on the sale rail. I saw this:

It isn't actually on sale and i had to pay full price for - twenty five pounds. Bit overpriced, i wont lie. I didn't want to pay so much for it. But i really like it. It's a strapless play suit with a floral pattern on it. Made of denim, with buttons all down the front. Its really cute and i cant wait to wear it on a hot day and not get an awkward tan line where my straps were :)

I'm off to London again tonight, so you might not hear from me for a couple more days. But come back then!!!!

bye :)

Nails..

I was just casually watching TV (friends), and decided I'd get back into nail varnish. I haven't painted my nails in ages cause at school you aren't aloud nail varnish, but i do  have quite a few colours; clear, purple, black, grey, grey with sparkles, blue  sparkles, orange, green,  pink, blue/ grey.
So i just randomly picked out the grey ones with sparkles. Its called HOT but the brand is Collection 2000 and its quick dry. Its not that bad but i think I'm gonna invest in some better nail varnishes. My friend heather (hevsibev) told me that Models Own nail varnishes are pretty good, but they're also quite expensive. Not ideal for me cause at the moment i have like, 70p?

This isn't a very long post because I'm gonna go cut down some trousers now :)

Bye xx

Just got back x

Hi :)

Last night i got back from grendon (a drama residential) and it was AWESOME. We were put in teams and i was a 13 leaf clover - cause we had 13 people in our group, paddy's family are Irish and we were the green group.. Paddy was our team leader by the way.

In our teams we had projects to do before the mini  Olympics. We wrote a song, and ,made a game. 13 leafs came second.. out of three. Which isn't too bad i suppose :P we're in the middle.

Then we went into groups and we had to make a short play based on story telling (after we had some story telling work shops, which, i wont lie, were incredibly boring.). Ours was the only one that wasn't really supposed to be funny.

It was about a girl called sky and it had a really good story line but its quite long so ill sum it up really quickly: Sky had BBD and was given pills which made her have nice dreams, so then she took and overdose so that she could dream forever.

The way back was also quite.. interesting?
We had driven about a mile and a half down the road and the car broke down so we had to wait a bit less than an hour for the AA to come and fix it.

So.. yeah, I'm back! I'll show you guys some of the pics i took for my sketch book soon too :)

Bye    x

Grendon x

Hey there,

Tonight I'm packing, cause in the morning I'm going to Grendon for a drama residential. This will be a short post because I really need to get back to packing. But, I'm gonna tell you a bit about it first :)

It's a residential for drama, with youth theatre (County drama).  We have to get there for nine, I think, on Monday morning. And we're leaving at half three on Friday.

I'm not entirely sure what we're gonna be doing there. I know that there will be drama games, quiz's, swimming, a talent competition and some other stuff which I cant remember - but I don't know the details of any of it.

But the point is: I wont be able to post for the next five days, come check back on Friday and I might have a review for you?

Happy holidays!

Future...

Heya guys :)

I recently changed my mind (again) on what I want to do in the future. I get that it changes quite a lot. I once wanted to be a vet, then a musician, then an actress. And now, I wanna be a story board artist!

Absolutely everyone I've told has had no idea what it is. And I didn't either, until we had a lesson about it in Ict (Love that teacher).

Story board artists are basically people who draw everything that happens in a film before they film it. On little pieces of paper or on a computer. But I'd draw it cause I love drawing. I think they do it to plan the film, as well as save money.

I realised that I wanted to be a Story board artist in Ict because it's a mixture of drama (Which i LOVE), and art (Which i LOVE). I guess I managed to find something in the middle :)

So I'm gonna try to get an art GCSE, as well as the compulsories, history and drama. And Then go to sixth form and do my A levels. After that I wanna go to an Art collage... But I don't know any, if you do, can you let me know? Never to early to plan, right? :P

I hope you liked hearing about Story board art, I did in ict! And, you never know, maybe you'll get into it some day too :D. And maybe I'll post about some art projects I get up to in the future..

Matalan + boots haul

Helloo,

I cant believe it was the last day of school today! :D I'm really happy. So, what better way to celebrate than go shopping? I was kinda limited for money though... No change there I guess. But anyway, here's what I got;

These are some Matalan earrings. I got them for £1.25 because they were half price. They're pretty big and I have no idea what I'm gonna wear them with.. but hay ho, I'll find something.
This is my Rimmel London, Soft Kohl eye pencil. I only just got it, obviously, so I'm not sure if it fades yet. Honestly, I'm not really expecting it to be that good, cause it was only £3.99.. But it's brown and I really wanted a brown one, so I'm pretty pleased with that at the moment :) I might do a proper review when I've used it a bit more.
This would be my Rimmel London, Stay Matte concealer. In 010 ivory. Another bargain, this was only £4.99 - All the other concealers were like £7.99 ish - So I thought it was quite good. And apparently the green bit in the middle is to even out your skin tone? Something like that anyway. Again, I might do a review on this a bit later on :)

And finally, my new leggings. They cost £7 and they are full length. Again, I don't have much to wear them with, but I guess I could just wear them with a vest top and some pumps? I was pretty pleased I'd found them cause I really like the Aztec kind of patters on them, and then the random colours over the top!(There's red, blue and yellow) :)

So.. yeah. That's what I bought on the last day of school :)Thanks for reading,

Talk to you soon!
